5 REASONS WHY I LOVE MY CHURCH

1. IT IS NOT PERFECT.

Church is people, people are not perfect.

l like the fact that l belong to a family of imperfect people who are passionately persuing the perfection of Jesus. It makes sense to me that l am not a lone. While I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize, l fight and fall BUT when l fall, l get back up. Proverbs 24:16

2. REAL PEOPLE

Real people share their weaknesses, hard moments, even their real side. It’ll either scare away every fake person in their life or it will inspire them to finally let go of that mirage called “perfection,” which will open the doors to the most important relationships you’ll ever be a part of. It is not about telling everyone your problems But being honest to your self and those who care to stand with you in your sturggle.

Remember: It is a waste of time practising righteousness in front of people just for them to see… Mathew 6:1

3. FAMILY

“When everything goes to hell, the people who stand by you without flinching — they are your family. ” ― Jim Butcher.
l have experienced breaking times and witnessed several moments when the Church family has stood by people in very difficult situations that sometimes you wonder why they are being so good to you. They look out for you, they “stalk” you on facebook. The likes of … l won’t mention names here… But heck yeah. They do that… all for free, no single penny paid. Thats what l call family. And to my Freedom Church Family, MUKYIKOLA MUTYA “How do you do it?” I am so moved by your love.

4. EVERY ONE MATTERS

When the vision is significant, no role is insignificant.

From the person cleaning the toilets to the leaders and back to a kid in Tiny Stars, every one matters!!!. About two weeks ago l was having a conversation with a lady who had just come to help open and clean the toilets. She later stayed and attended the church service. While she received her VIP treamtent as a first timer at Freedom Church, my heart was leaping for Joy talking to her as l thought about how every single person matters.

Last week, even when she wasn’t feeling great, she made every effort to come back. And watch out, she will be doing the same for others.

5.

When words cannot express how l feel, l let silence speak on my behalf.

Telling you cannot fully express why l Love My Church. But stay with me… There’s another way to find out. You come to Freedom Church and you will experience exactly what l can’t put in words.

And if you are over the pond somewhere in the States, you can visit NewSpring Church, the things l have not put in this post, you will experince and far more.
